Blue-Gold Gameday and Parking Information:

April 20, 2006

All parking is available on a first come, first served basis. All parking is FREE of charge. Please follow the directions and instructions of parking attendants, police and security staff.

Early arriving patrons should proceed to campus from the south via Edison Road and Angela Blvd. to the parking lots located south of the Joyce Center and Stadium. These lots are expected to fill up quickly.

North of the stadium, parking is available in the Library and D2 North lots. These should be accessed via Juniper Road from the north.

In addition, the large White Field parking area (located west of Juniper Road between Douglas and Pendle Roads) will be available. Transpo buses will be on hand to shuttle fans from White Field to the Library Circle before, during and after the game.

Limited disabled patron parking will be available in the lots south of the Joyce Center and Notre Dame Stadium. In addition, accessible shuttle transportation will be available from the White Field parking area. A government issued hangtag or registration is required for access to disabled parking areas.

Parking of busses and RV's (overnight parking prohibited) will be available, please proceed to campus from the south via Edison Rd. and Angela Blvd and follow the directions of the parking attendants.

Douglas Road is closed east of Juniper Road and this will impact traffic flow, especially for fans arriving from the east. The following alternative routes are suggested: driving east or west on Cleveland Road to southbound Juniper Road to parking areas north of the stadium (Library Lot, D2, White Field). Or, use Edison Road east or west to lots south of the Stadium and Joyce Center. From the Toll Road, go north to Cleveland Road and turn south on Juniper Road.

When the south lots reach capacity, parking attendants will direct traffic to White Field parking area north of Douglas Rd.

Blue-Gold game tickets will be available beginning at 9:00 am Saturday at the Notre Dame Stadium Ticket Office located on the east side of the Stadium across from the Joyce Center.

Notre Dame Security Police, assisted by other police agencies will have a presence in Notre Dame Stadium and will conduct patrols of various parking areas to promote a family friendly environment and to enforce laws. Also, smoking is now prohibited in Notre Dame Stadium.
