AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24)

• Notched three best times at the Ohio State Winter Invite — 500 free (4:27.00), 1650 free (15:34.58) and 400 IM (3:52.61)
• Placed seventh in the 1000 free (9:21.90), eighth in the 500 free (4:29.23), 10th in the 400 IM (3:58.83) and swam in the 400 free relay at the Tim Welsh Classic. Posted best times in the 500/1000.
• Swam four events against Princeton and Navy — 200 back (1:51.89), 400 IM (3:59.44), 500 free (4:43.44) and 1000 free (9:41.34)
• Posted five best times at the Ohio State Fall Invitational: 500 free (4:29.93), 1000 free (9:23.92), 1650 free (15:38.06), 100 fly (53.12) and 400 IM (3:53.72)
• Competed in the 400 IM (4:05.96), 200 free (1:44.90), 500 free (4:37.37) and 1000 free (9:37.26) against Penn State and Pitt. Highest finish was eighth in the 1000 free
• Took seventh in the 500 free  (4:47.54), fifth in the 1000 free (9:41.34), and competed in the 200 IM against Purdue
• Finished fifth in the 500 free (4:54.81) and sixth in the 1000 free (9:57.85) at Wisconsin

AS A FRESHMAN (2022-23)

• Competed in six meets as a rookie
• Swam two personal bests at the Ohio State Winter Invite: 200 back (1:47.93) and 400 IM (3:57.65)

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Swam for Carmel Swim Club
• Winter Junior National Qualifier
• Eighth place (500 free) and 13th (100 back) at the Indiana High School State Championships
• Fourth place (1500 free) and eighth (400 IM) at Indiana Senior State Championship
• Son of George and Amy Lathrop; has two siblings, Maddy and William
• Both parents went to Notre Dame, as did aunt. Father was a swimmer for the Irish.
• Majoring in science business
