AS A JUNIOR (2023-24)

  • Notched a best time in the mile in her NCAA Championships debut (16:10.82). Finished 28th overall
  • Finished fifth at the 2024 ACC Championships in the 1650 free with a time of 16:16.78. Also notched a best time in the 500 free prelims (4:47.26) and ultimately finished 13th
  • Competed in the 200 breast (2:27.42) at the Tim Welsh Classic.
  • Won the 1000 free against Princeton and Navy with a best time of 9:45.27. Also took third in the 500 free (4:52.32)
  • At the Ohio State Fall Invitational, Graves continued an impressive junior year:
    • Finished fourth in the 1000 free (9:50.03) and 1650 free (16:14.95). Notched an NCAA B cut in the 1650
    • Also posted a personal best time in the 500 free with a time of 4:47.47, finishing 13th
  • Competed in the 500 (5:06.35) and 1000 free (10:17.37) at Louisville, finishing eighth and fifth, respectively
  • Won both of her events against Pitt and Penn State — 500 free (4:47.79) and 1000 free (9:52.15). Her 500 free was a personal best time
  • Competed in the 500 (5:04.55) and 1000 free (10:15.71) against Purdue, finishing seventh and third, respectively
  • Finished fifth in the 500 free (5:01.52) and sixth in the 1000 free (10:16.31) against Wisconsin

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)

  • Took 6th in the 1650 free (16:14.95), 21st in the 500 free (4:49.16) at ACCs, participated in the 200 free (1:53.66)
  • Earned a fifth-place finish in the 1650 free (16:19.09) at the Ohio State Invitational
  • Won the 1650 free (16:20.40) against Navy and Princeton, finished third in the 500 free (4:49.44)

AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)

  • Competed at the 2022 ACC Championships in the 200 freestyle (1:52.84), 500 freestyle (4:52.23) and 1650 freestyle (16:33.73).
  • Finished third in the 1000 freestyle (10:18.11) in the dual meet against UIC.
  • Won the 1650 freestyle (16:35.13) and finished sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:55.09) at the Tim Welsh Classic.
  • Placed seventh in the 1650 freestyle (16:23.78) and 18th in the 500 freestyle finals (4:49.43) at the Ohio State Invitational.
  • Her 1650 time from the Ohio State Invitational ranks fourth-fastest in program history.
  • Won the 1000 freestyle (10:04.83) in the dual meet against Purdue.
  • Won the 1000 freestyle (10:10.92) in her first collegiate meet against Pittsburgh and Cleveland State.

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Two-time All-American (500 Free)
  • Placed third (2018) and sixth (2019) in the 500 Free at Illinois State
  • Was the section champion in the 500 Free (2018), second in 2019 and placed third in the 200 IM in 2019
  • In 2017 and 2018, was the conference 500 Free champion
  • Best times: 500 Free (4:51.72), 800 Free (8:58.30), 1000 Free (9:55.75), 1500 Free (16:55.75), 1650 Free (16:42.21)
  • Team sectional and conference champions in 2018 and 2019
  • Swam for Barrington Swim Club; 18 & under Top 100 in the world in the mile swim for 2018, Junior National qualifier
  • USA Swimming Section Champion in the Mile (2018) and IL Swimming Senior Long Course State Champion in the Mile (2019).
  • Earned the Presidential Volunteer Award at Barrington and was a member of the National Honors Society, and an AP Scholar
  • Three-time USAA Swimming Scholastic All-American
  • Volunteers often at a home for the elderly and also in Barrington Giving Day to help families in need around Christmas
  • Member of Student Council as a committee head for two years and treasurer as a senior; also a member of German club
  • “The first time I stepped onto the Notre Dame campus, I knew I would call it home someday. There is such an amazing balance between academics and athletics that will support me beyond my college years. The coaches and team are so welcoming and I am very excited to join their family.
