Julie Henderson Competing for BIG EAST Women's Basketball All-Star Team

Irish center scores four points, grabs six rebounds against Australia.

OBERPULLENDORF, Austria - - Notre Dame center Julie Henderson (Ann Arbor, Mich.) scored four points and grabbed six rebounds for the BIG EAST/Nike Women's Basketball All-Stars in their 64-55 defeat of the Australian National Team on Sunday. The contest was the first of six for the All-Star team which is on a tour through June 5 of Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Sylita Thomas of Georgetown led the All-Stars with team-highs of 12 points and eight rebounds. Meghan Hinds of Providence netted nine points and grabbed six rebounds.

The BIG EAST/Nike All-Stars, under the direction of Miami head coach Ferne Labati, will face Slovan Bratislava BBC in Bratislava, Slovakia on Monday.
