National Honor Society and honor roll selection ... served as sophomore class vice president, followed by a two-year stint as a student government representative ... played in marching and concert bands at Adams during her freshman year.

PERSONAL DATA: Born Sept. 8, 1986 in South Bend, Ind. ... third of five children ... fourth South Bend native (and first Adams High School graduate) ever to play for the Irish; the most recent South Bend product to play for Notre Dame was former Washington High School standout Jacqueline Batteast (2001-05) ... comes from a family with a rich athletic heritage -- two of her cousins are Shannon Bolden (currently a senior guard/forward at Minnesota) and Stephanie Bolden (a former standout at South Dakota State, where she helped the Jackrabbits to the NCAA Division II title in 2002-03) ... writes poetry and has had her work published by the American Poets Society (Jan. 2004) ... enrolled in First Year of Studies program at Notre Dame ... some former Irish players who wore No. 14 include Lisa Kuhns (1985-90) and Sheila Liebscher (1979-81).
