PITTSBURGH - A limited number of tickets remain available for Notre Dame's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament first-round game vs. California, slated for noon (ET) Sunday at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. Making their 12th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance (and 14th overall), the Irish (19-11) are seeded ninth in the Dallas Region, while the Golden Bears (23-8) -- who finished third in the Pac-10 Conference this season -- are the No. 8 seed in the region.

Single-session tickets for games at the Pittsburgh venue are $15 for adults and $10 for youth, with a $1 "Good of the Game" NCAA fee added to the cost of each session ticket. There will be two sessions on Sunday, with Session I featuring two games from the Dallas Region -- the Notre Dame-Cal contest, followed 30 minutes later by top-seeded North Carolina vs. No. 16 seed Prairie View A&M. Session II will take place that evening with action in the Dayton Region -- No. 1 seed Tennessee will face 16th-seeded Drake at 7 p.m. (ET), with homestanding Pittsburgh (the eighth seed) meeting No. 9 seed James Madison in the nightcap at approximately 9:30 p.m. (ET).

All-session tickets (a six-game package which also include both of Tuesday's second-round games at 7 p.m. (ET) and 9:30 p.m. (ET) respectively) are $35 for adults and $20 for youth. Group rates are provided, with groups of 11-34 people earning a discount of $5 per ticket, and groups of 35-or-more obtaining a $10 per ticket savings.

The easiest way to purchase tickets for NCAA Tournament action in Pittsburgh is by going on-line to the Pittsburgh Panthers official athletics web site. Fans also can call the Pittsburgh Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 643-7488 (PITT) or stop by the ticket windows in the lobby of the Petersen Events Center.

Due to the limited ticket availability and high demand, the Notre Dame Athletics Ticket Office will not be selling tickets for the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament games in Pittsburgh.
