SPRING OF 2002: Will miss the spring season studying abroad in Spain.
FALL OF 2001: Rowed as part of the second open four crew at the Chicago Chase, taking fourth in 19:17.40 ... was 12th at the Head of the Rock.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Earned her first monogram as a member of the rowing program ... named to the BIG EAST Conference's Academic All-Star team ... was a member of the varsity four for the spring season ... won the
petite final and was seventh overall at the Central Regions ... was third
at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge in the varsity four race, sitting in
the second seat ... was second at the Indiana Crew Classic ... finished
first against Dayton and Tennessee and was second to Michigan State
Srowed in the seven seat of the lightweight eight boat to open the
season at the Chicago Chase ... crew placed first in the lightweight
race and would have been third overall in the open event .... also rowed
with Leah Ashe in the pairs race at Chicago Chase ... took a gold medal
in the lightweight four rowing in the third seat at the Head of the Rock
and was second in the lightweight eight race, once again in the seventh
seat ... was fourth in the varsity eight race as the "B" boat at the
Head of the Grand ... boat placed seventh in the varsity eight race at
the Head of the Elk.
AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed as a member of the novice squad ... was in
the second novice eight vessel most of the year ... won the second
novice eight championship at the Georgetown Invitational which features
all of the BIG EAST school that sponsor rowing sitting in the sixth seat
... won the Georgetown Invitational by over nine seconds ... placed
fourth out of 11 boats in the second novice eight races at the Southern
Intercollegiate Rowing Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn. ... placed
fifth overall in the second novice eight grand final at the Midwest
Rowing Championships in Madison, Wis. ... rowed in the third seat of the
second novice eight at the Central Region Championships, placing fifth
in the grand finals.
