FALL OF 2000:
Has improved greatly as she has gone from the third novice eight vessel in 1999-2000 to competing as part of the second varsity eight boat most of the fall ... was in the fourth seat as the Irish placed fourth at the Chicago Chase, finishing only five seconds out of third place ... finished 10th at the Head of the Rock ... moved to the second seat at the Head of the Grand in claiming fourth place ... stayed in the second position while placing seventh at the Head of the Elk Regatta.
AS A SOPHOMORE:
Rowed in the third novice eight boat, placing third against Michigan State and fourth versus Drake.
AS A FRESHMAN:
Did not compete.
PREP AND PERSONAL:
Played volleyball and softball at Trinity Episcopal High School ... was a member of National Honor Society, Students Against Drunk Driving, marching band, jazz band and orchestra in high school ... one of three children ... daughter of Lisa and Stephen Kinnier ... father graduated from Notre Dame in 1974 ... born April 5, 1980, in Richmond, Va. ... enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business, double majoring in finance and computer applications.
