FALL OF 2001: Rowed in the second varsity four at the Milwaukee River Challenge, which placed fifth in 27.07 ... also was in the second varsity four boat at the Chicago Chase and the Head of the Rock placing fourth in Rockford ... was a member of the third varsity eight boat at both the Chicago Chase and the Head of the Rock, sitting in the fourth seat. AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed as a member of the novice team in 2000-01 ... was in the third seat in the winning novice eight against Tennessee ... boat also won at Michigan State and Dayton ... also won at Indiana Cup, outdistancing the field by almost eight seconds ... won its heat at the Midwest Rowing Championship before the finals were cancelled due to inclement weather ... novice eight lost its first race of the season at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge ... placed third in its petite final heat at the Central Region ... sat in the bow seat of the novice eight boat which placed fifth at the Head of the Elk ... also competed in the open eight race, placing 23rd in Elkhart.
