Rowed with the third varsity eight boat in the fourth seat at the Head of the Elk ... finished 18th at that race ... was a member of the third eight at the Head of the Grand, placing sixth ... raced with the second varsity eight in the second seat at the Head of the Rock earning 10th place ... opened the season with a fourth in the second eight at the Chicago Chase, missing a bronze by only five seconds.

AS A FRESHMAN:

Did not compete as a first-year athlete in 1999-2000 due to injury.

“I am a member of the rowing team because it it one of the toughest experiences I can go through—to be at a school that is at the top both academically and athletically, to take an organic chemistry exam and then go row a 4K. Yet, if I can make it through this, it’s something to be proud of for the rest of my life.”
