Rowed bow in the second varsity eight boat during the fall season ... placed fourth in her first collegiate race at the Chicago Chase ... was 10th at the Head of the Rock the next day ... rebounded to a fourth-place finish at the Head of the Grand ... was seventh at the Head of the Rock.
PREP AND PERSONAL:
Participated in crew and soccer while at Holy Names Academy ... won the high school division of the Head of the Charles Regatta ... finished fifth at 2000 junior nationals ... was team captain of the soccer program as a sophomore ... one of two children ... parents are Jenness and John Starks ...born Aug. 2, 1982, in Seattle, Wash. ... enrolled in First Year of Studies.
