Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, C.S.C And Rev. Edmund Joyce, C.S.C Have Shells Named In Their Honor

Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C. stands with the Notre Dame women's rowing team after having a boat named and christened in his honor.

Rev. Edmund P. Joyce christens the shell in his name with water from the St. Joseph River during halftime of the Notre Dame men's basketball game against Georgetown which was played in front of a sellout crowd at the Joyce Center.
