The Notre Dame rowing team is ranked 14th nationally in the latest US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll released today. Washington continues to hold the top spot with 12 first-place votes and 354 points. Brown is second with the six remaining first-place votes and 348 points, Ohio State moved up two spots to third with 316 points, while Princeton stayed in fourth with 293 points and Michigan is fifth, after falling two positions, with 284 points. Yale, Cal, Harvard, USC and Syracuse round out the top 10.
Notre Dame has its biggest weekend of the year when it travels to Oak Ridge, Tenn., May 18-19 for the 2002 Central Regions. All teams in the Central and South Region will participate in the weekend's regatta.
