Welcome to the 2002 NCAA Rowing Championships.

Notre Dame, in only its fourth season as a varsity program,
qualified for its first ever NCAA Rowing Championship.


Members of the varsity and novice rosters, shown
with the NCAA team, made their way to Indianapolis to support the Irish.

Notre Dame had a strong fan following at the 2002 NCAA
Rowing Championships in Indianapolis.


The Notre Dame flag flew proudly at the 2002 NCAA Rowing
Championships.


Notre Dame gave a great effort and finished fifth in the second
heat of the varsity eight.


Notre Dame finished 16th in the varsity eight race over the weekend.

The 2002 Notre Dame NCAA team included (from L to R): Junior
coxswain Cassie Markstahler, junior Ashlee Warren, senior Michelle Olsgard,
senior Katie Besson, junior Becky Luckett, sophomore Diane Price, sophomore
Jayme Szefc, senior Katherine Burnett, sophomore Natalie Ladine, senior
Courtney Mercer and sophomore Alice Bartek.


The Irish can finally relax after another grueling race.
