One of three talented freshmen who will have a major impact on the Irish golf program in the next four years ... worked hard in the off-season to improve all aspects of her game ... will look to take a regular spot among Notre Dame’s top five golfers in the spring.
AS A FRESHMAN (Fall of 2000):
Was among the team’s top six golfers in the fall ... averaged 85.11 in nine rounds of play while participating in four of the team’s five tournaments ...tied for 53rd at Notre Dame Invitational with a 54-hole total of 266 (87-91-88) ... best round of fall came in third round of Lady Northern Invitational where she fired a five-over par 77 on the way to a 249 (86-86-77) which tied her for 80th in a field of 96 golfers ... tied for 76th at Michigan State Invitational with an 84 in the rain-shortened tournament ... tied for 90th in a field of 104 at the NCAA Fall Preview with a 36-hole mark of 167 which included rounds of 83 and 84 ... tied for seventh at the Campus Championship at the Warren Golf Course with a 168 (88-80).

Played four years of golf at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes High School for coach Steve Nickens ... won all-conference, all-city and all-state honors ... two-time team captain ... top golfer and team MVP ... advanced to the semi-finals of Virginia State Amateur ... VSGA Junior Golfer of the Year ... selected Alexandria Sportsman’s Club Player of the Year ... also played field hockey where she was chosen team MVP ... member of National Spanish Honors Society ...
