The first and second rounds of the Alamo Invitational were cancelled on Monday due to heavy rains at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club. The Texas-San Antonio hosted event has been shortened to one round of play, which will take place tomorrow, Oct. 27 with an 8:30 am (CST) shotgun start.
Live hole-by-hole scoring of the 2009 Alamo Invitational will be available through Golfstat. To access the site go to http://www.golfstatresults.com. Daily recaps and results will be posted on und.com.
The Alamo Invitational marks the conclusion of Notre Dame's fall schedule. The spring season opens on February 22, 2010 at the Central District Invitational, which will be played at the River Wilderness Country Club in Parish, Fla.
