WILMINGTON, N.C. - Second-round play at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. was suspended Saturday (Oct. 27) at approximately 12:09 pm (EST) due to heavy rains and inclement weather from Hurricane Sandy. The three-day tournament is being held at the Country Club of Landfall's par 72 Jack Nicklaus Course (6,138 yards). The University of Notre Dame women's golf team, which is ranked 24th and began Saturday morning's second round in fifth place, moved to third overall in the team standings at 14-over par.
