COACH HOLT ON THE UPCOMING EVENT

"I’m excited to get back to competing and seeing what this team can do. We’ve been breaking team and individual records our first two events and we’re looking forward to what this weekend could bring. The team is ready to go and has a lot of confidence heading into this event based on the success we’ve had so far.”

ON PLAYING WITH CONFIDENCE

“This game is so much about confidence in both self and each other and I think we are in a great place and just need to keep playing off the momentum we have built so far this fall. With only two events left to play this fall, if we can keep this momentum going we will position ourselves well for the grind of a much longer spring schedule."

ON THE COURSE

The Bettie Lou Evans Invitational has been held at the University Club since 2002. It was previously played at Spring Valley Country Club.

"We’re looking forward to going back to Lexington this weekend. It's a fun course to play and one that does require quality golf shots. I think it is a course that will set up well for our team as we do a good job of keeping the ball in play and it will be bent grass greens, which we are familiar with here on campus."
