Earned two monograms during her Notre Dame career ... finished career as a starter on defense as a senior ... strong defensive player who played with a good understanding of her role in the team's defensive system ... along with twin sister, Heather, became the first set of twins to play for the Notre Dame women's lacrosse program ... one of eight sets of sisters to play for the Irish in the program's 12-year history ... played in 37 career games, making 18 starts ... had 29 ground balls, four draw controls and 12 caused turnovers in her career.

AS A SENIOR: Played in all 19 games, making 18 starts on the Notre Dame back line ... grabbed 18 ground balls, two draw controls and eight caused turnovers during the season ... had six games with two or more ground balls ... made first career start in season opener against Canisius ... had a career high three ground balls in the 14-11 win over Ohio State ... grabbed two ground balls in games against Oregon, Hofstra, Duke, Georgetown and Vanderbilt ... also had a career best two caused turnovers in the 14-13 victory at Hofstra (3/25).

AS A JUNIOR: Saw action in 15 games for the Irish in 2007 ... recorded 10 ground balls, one draw control and three caused turnovers ... had a career-high three ground balls at Canisius (3/10) and versus Duquesne (4/1) ... lone draw control came versus Duquesne and had caused turnovers versus Canisius, Ohio State and Duquesne.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in three games as a sophomore, with one ground ball, one draw control and one caused turnover ... saw action versus Ohio, Lehigh (one ground ball, one draw control and one caused turnover) and Canisius.

AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see any playing time in 2005 season.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-sport performer at Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor, Pa. ... three-year letter winner in lacrosse and field hockey ... also played basketball during her high school career ... formed a dynamic duo with her sister, helping Archbishop Carroll to four undefeated Catholic League titles during their careers ... served as team captain as a senior ... was an all-Catholic League selection as a senior ...in her final year, had 28 goals and 16 assists ... for career, finished with 71 goals and 53 assists ... member of team that was second in the state and 11th in the nation in 2004 ... high school Academic All- American as a senior ... member of three goldmedal- winning Keystone State Games teams from 2001-03 ... two-year starter on field hockey team that won Catholic League titles in 2000, 2001 and 2003 and finished second in 2002 ... full name is Lindsey Marie Ferguson ... daughter of Robert and Marianne Ferguson ... has one sister, Heather, who was a teammate on the Irish lacrosse team, and one brother ... born July 22, 1986 in Media, Pa. ... graduated with a degree in marketing from the Mendoza College of Business.
