Women's Lacrosse Game At Brown Cancelled Due To Snow

Irish travel to Ohio University for game on Tuesday.

Eleanor Weille and the Irish women's lacrosse team will have to wait until Tuesday to get back on the playing field. Their game at Brown on Sunday was cancelled due to snow in Providence, R.I.

Notre Dame, Ind. - The Notre Dame women's lacrosse game scheduled for Sunday, March 9th at Brown University in Providence, R.I. was cancelled due to snow.

The New England area received up to eight inches of snow on Thursday and Brown's grass field was unplayable.

The Irish (0-1) will now travel to Athens, Ohio to face the Ohio University Bobcats on Tuesday, March 11th. Game time is 4:00 p.m.

Notre Dame will then open the BIG EAST schedule on Saturday, March 15 when they travel to Boston College. That game versus the Eagles is scheduled to be played at Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. Game time for the Boston College game is 1:00 p.m.
