History vs. Boston College

Notre Dame and Boston College will square off for the 11th time in program history. The Irish own a 7-3 record all-time against the Eagles, including a 3-2 record on the road.

Most recently, the Irish defeated the Eagles, 14-4, on February 21, 2017 at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is 1-2 versus Boston College since joining the ACC. The Eagles have outscored the Irish 34-30 in those games.

Race to The Finish

Notre Dame enters play with a 4-2 record in regular-season ACC play.

A win over Boston College would give the Irish their most wins in the ACC in program history. The last time the Irish tallied five wins was when they went 5-3 in the BIG EAST in 2013. Notre Dame’s 5-2 record would mark its best winning percentage since it went 6-2 in the BIG EAST in 2012.

A loss to the Eagles would give Notre Dame a 4-3 record in the ACC, equaling its 2016 regular-season ACC finish.

The Class of 2017

Eight Irish seniors have made three trips to the NCAA Tournament and are looking to become the third class to go to the NCAA Tournament four times. The seniors have gone 5-6 in postseason play thus far in their careers.

The senior class owns a record of 46-30 (.605) over their four seasons at Notre Dame. The Irish need at least one more win this season to equal the Class of 2016’s overall winning percentage (.610).
