Women's Lacrosse Team Tours Ireland And England
May 31, 2007 Notre Dame, Ind. - The 2007 regular season may be over for the Notre Dame women's lacrosse team, but the Irish will stay together as a team for 12 more days as they make a postseason trip to Ireland and England between May 30 and June 10th. Head coach Tracy Coyne and her squad will spend six days touring Ireland and four in England while playing a pair of exhibition contests along the way. On Saturday, June 2, Notre Dame will face an Irish lacrosse team at the University College in Dublin at 4:00 p.m. (local time). The second game of the trip will come on Saturday, June 9 when Notre Dame will play England's Under-19 team at the Cobham Rugby Club in London at 3:30 p.m. (local time). The remainder of the trip will have the women's lacrosse team capturing the sites and sounds of both countries as they spend time touring the Irish and English country sides.
