ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Notre Dame senior women's lacrosse player Sarah LeSueur (Garden City, N.Y.) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division I academic squad for the 2000 season. The student-athletes are honored for their academic excellence and must have a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average, be a starter or key reserve and be a junior or senior.

LeSueur played in 11 of 15 games two starting appearance and has started 28 of the 39 games in which she had played in her career. The defender collected 13 groundballs, caused four turnovers and controlled five draws. LeSueur is enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business with a double major in accounting and history and has a 3.747 cumulative GPA.
