AS A JUNIOR: Due to roster turnover, took over some throwing duties during the indoor season and outdoor season, as well as concentrating on the javelin during the outdoor season ... threw the shot put and participated in the weight throw in the Tri Meet against Western Michigan and Ball State ... also threw both implements against Michigan State ... finished fifth in the javelin (115-7 1/2) finals at the Purdue Invitational to begin the outdoor season ... placed fourth at the Spring Opener in the javelin (116-0 1/2) ... also took fourth place at the Tom Botts Invitational (113-8) ... qualified for the BIG EAST outdoor meet, finishing 13th in the javelin.
