AS A JUNIOR: Continued to give the Irish track and field team depth in the middle distance events ... began the 2002 indoor season running the 800 meters in the Tri Meet vs. Western Michigan and Ball State, finishing seventh ... moved up to fourth in the 800 meters against Michigan State (2:17.61) ... ran well in the 1,000 meters during the Meyo Invitational, finishing fourth in 2:57.39 ... ended up 16th in the 800 meters at the Alex Wilson Invitational, running a personal-best 2:15.14 ... ran first outdoor race at the Tom Botts Invitational, finishing sixth in the 1,500 meters (4:38.12) ... top effort of the outdoor season was a fourth-place finish in the 800 meters at the Butler Invitational (2:14.98).
