AS A FRESHMAN: Opened Irish rowing career as a member of the Notre Dame "F" boat in the varsity eight race at Head of the Rock, helping the crew to a final time of 22:09.30 ... later rowed in the novice eight competition at the Head of the Rock with the Notre Dame "C" crew and crossed the line in 22:25.60 ... did not participate in the Southland Regatta.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Attended high school at the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Omaha, Neb....was a member of several student groups, including student council, National Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)...born in Omaha, Neb. on July 2, 1990...daughter of Robert and Mary Heng-Braun...has five older siblings...brothers, Robert and Ryan, as well as her father, Robert Jr., attended Notre Dame...enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
