FALL OF 2002: Rowed seven seat of the third varsity eight to start off the season at the Milwaukee River Challenge ... finished 20th at Milwaukee ... rowed in the two seat of the second varsity eight for the remaining fall races ... finished second to the first Irish boat at home against Kansas ... came in fifth at the Head of the Rock . . . was a member of the club four which placed first at the Head of the Ohio ... placed sixth in the second varsity eight race at the Head of the Ohio.
AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed as a member of the novice team for 2001-02, rowing in the first novice eight boat ... sat bow seat at Central Regions ... gave the Irish their highest finish ever (third-place) at Central Regions, finishing in 7:07.5 ...became the first Irish boat to medal at the Central Region meet ...team finished fourth out of 19 teams at Central Regions ... was first in heat two, and second overall, sitting bow seat at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge... was first against Tennessee sitting second seat of the novice eight... beat the Lady Vols by over 14 seconds with a time of 7:26.40 ... in the fall, was third sitting as sixth seat at the Head of the Eagle.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Earned eight letters in three different sports at Lansing Catholic Central (two in cross country, four in track and two in swimming)...was team captain of swimming her junior year, track her junior and senior year and cross country her senior year...was voted MVP and all-conference both her sophomore and junior seasons in swimming...was voted MVP of track and named all-state her sophomore, junior and senior year and was named all-conference all four years in the sport...was named all-state her senior season in cross country and all-conference her junior and senior seasons in the sport...was state champion in track in the 3200m relay her junior season...was regional champion in track all four seasons...was regional champion in cross country both her junior and senior seasons...was conference champion her sophomore, junior and senior seasons in track and her senior season in cross country...her 800m relay team and 3,200m relay team set records...a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Ambassadors...one of two children...her parents, Linda Olivieri and William Chenoweth, both graduated from Notre Dame in 1977...born Oct. 24, 1982, in Flint, Mich. ...enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters, majoring in anthropology and Spanish.
