AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed with the second novice eight boat to start the spring season ... helped the boat earn a second-place finish against Michigan State in the opening event, finishing with a time of 8:46.90 ... the following day, was a member of the same boat helping the crew to a second-place finish against the likes of Indiana and Purdue with a final time of 6:35.90 ... helped the second novice eight crew to two race victories in a four-team regatta at Ohio State ... in the morning session the boat was able to defeat Ohio State by finishing the course in 7:11.12 ... the afternoon session saw the boat knock over seven seconds off of the morning time, crossing the line at 7:04.00 and defeating Minnesota ... competed with the novice four boat at the BIG EAST Championships, grabbing the grand final victory over second-place Georgetown, with a winning time of 8:02.648 ... crew member on the Notre Dame "E" boat in the varsity eight race at the Head of the Rock, placing 25th place in a time of 21:02.30 ... also competed in the novice eight race at Head of the Rock as a member of the Notre Dame "B" boat crew ... team crossed the line in a time of 19:29.50, good enough for a fifth-place result ... took part in the novice eight competition at the Southland Regatta on the Notre Dame "B" boat crew, stopping the clock at 20:43.47 and capturing 15th place for the effort.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Received three letters in rowing for her efforts in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons at Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School in Indianapolis, Ind....was selected as the team captain during her senior season...was a member of the National Honor Society as well as a member of student council...born in Indianapolis, Ind. on February 15, 1989...daughter of Kevin and Francine Figg...has one sister, Victoria...currently majoring in science pre-professional and economics.
