IN THE FALL: Will serve as a team captain for the 2003-04 season ... rowed in the first varsity eight in the stroke seat ... placed fourth at the Head of the Rock ... won the pairs race with Alice Bartek at the Head of the Rock ... placed 29th in the Championship Race at the Head of the Charles ... was first-ever appearance for Notre Dame at the Head of the Charles.

AS A JUNIOR: Earned second-team CRCA all-Central Region honors for the second consecutive season in 2002-03 ... was named a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete for the second straight season ... named to the 2003 BIG EAST Academic All-Star team ... rowed stroke seat for the first varsity eight most of the 2002-03 season ... placed second in the petite final and eighth overall at the 2003 Central Regions as the Irish finished fifth in the team race ... participated in the Windermere Cup against national power Washington and international competitor Belarus where the Irish placed third ... won a silver medal at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge as the Irish were runners-up in the team race to Syracuse ... also had victories in the first eight against Dayton, Indiana, Purdue and North Carolina during the spring season ... finished second to Iowa in the season opener at the Milwaukee River Challenge ... won first place at home against Kansas ... placed third at the Head of the Rock, missing the runner-up position by less than a second ... also rowed in pairs with Kathleen Welsh at the Head of the Rock, finishing seventh ... was fifth at the Head of the Ohio with Ashlee Warren in the pairs race ... varsity eight was fourth at the prestigious Head of the Ohio.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to the second team of the 2002 Collegiate Rowing Association All-Central Region team ... named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team ... took the Irish by surprise as she moved into the third seat of the varsity eight after being a member of the novice roster the previous season ... posted the fastest 2,000-meter erg time on the Irish this spring at 7:11.10 ... named a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete for the first time in her career ... earned her first monogram as a member of the Notre Dame rowing team ... had first NCAA Championship appearance in only the program's fourth year of varsity status ... Irish placed fifth in their opening heat at NCAA's ... placed seventh in the repechage heat and finished fourth in the "C" final, placing 16th overall at the NCAA regatta ... finished fourth in a time of 6:43.20 at Central Regions in a race which featured five ranked teams ... as a team, the Irish finished fourth out of 19 teams at Central Regions ... finished fifth in 6:35.31 in the grand final of the Jessop-Whittier Cup at the prestigious San Diego Crew Classic ... defeated four teams ranked above them at the San Diego Crew Classic ... won the Indiana Crew Classic easily, defeating its closest competitor by 15 seconds ... finished second to Syracuse in the finals at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge ... placed second as a team at the 2002 BIG EAST Rowing Challenge to Syracuse ... in the fall, rowed in the fifth seat of the first varsity eight that placed first at the Milwaukee River Challenge and was in the fifth seat of the gold-medal winning first boat at the Chicago Chase ... placed third with partner Ashlee Warren in the pairs race at the Chicago Chase and fourth at the Head of the Rock.

AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed as a member of the novice team in 2000-01 ... was in the sixth seat in the winning novice eight against Tennessee ... boat also won at Michigan State and Dayton ... also won at Indiana Cup, outdistancing the field by almost eight seconds ... won its heat at the Midwest Rowing Championship before the finals were cancelled due to inclement weather ... novice eight lost its first race of the season at the BIG EAST Rowing Challenge ... placed third in its petite final heat at the Central Region ... sat in the fourth seat of the novice eight boat which placed fifth at the Head of the Elk ... also competed in the open eight race, placing 23rd in Elkhart.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Was a five-time letterwinner in volleyball and softball at St. Francis High School ... was an all-city and all-conference player in both volleyball and softball ... most valuable player of the softball team her freshman and senior seasons ... volleyball team was regional champions her senior season ... participated in the ASA softball nationals in 1996 and 1998 and in the volleyball Junior Olympics in 1999 ... participated in the volleyball and softball Optimist game ... winner of the PowerBar Student-Athlete Award ... was a senior class senator and a member of Students Reaching Out, student government and CFS ... one of two children for Cosette and Bob Ladine ... brother Jeff played rugby at Santa Clara University ... born Aug. 2, 1982, in Sacramento, Calif. ... enrolled in the College of Science, majoring in pre-professional studies ... has an overall grade-point average of 3.535 ... earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall of '03 ... has been named to the Dean's List five times in her Notre Dame career.
