    Notre Dame qualifies all boats for top NCAA semifinals for the first time since 2009

    AS A JUNIOR: Rowed with the Notre Dame first varsity four during junior season ... crew finished first at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational with a time of 7:22.100 to defeat Louisville and West Virginia ... placed a mere five seconds behind Virginia with a 7:28.333 mark later in the regatta ... took the top spot in the final race of the weekend with a 7:31.70 sprint in Sunday's race session against ACC foe Duke ... the first four won one out of three races at the Lake Natoma Invitational, finishing as the runnerup in its other two heats ... earned a pair of runner-up finishes behind eventual NCAA champion Ohio State and Michigan during Notre Dame's first appearance at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge ... crew was victorious in two out of three races at the Dale England Cup, defeating Alabama and Rhode Island in heat wins ... rowed to a first place finish in heat two at the ACC Championship (7:46.70) before falling to Virginia in the ACC grand final of the varsity four with a time of 7:30.00 ... qualified for the petite final at the NCAA Championship by placing fifth in the A/B semifinal with a time 6:54.600 ... logged a matching fifth place result in the petite final with a readout of 8:07.649, finishing the season as the 12th ranked four boat in the nation.

    AS A SOPHOMORE: Member of the first varsity four boat ... at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, won first race in a time of 7:53.90 before crossing the finish line second behind defending NCAA champion Virginia in 7:35.10 ... finished the Tennessee trip ahead of Louisville and Miami in the third and final race, posting a 7:43.20 mark ... won both races at Michigan State, beating Iowa in 8:03.20 and the host Spartans in 8:14.80 ... for its efforts in East Lansing, the Irish varsity four crew was named BIG EAST Boat of the Week April 3 ... came in second in both races at the Ohio State Invitational, crossing the finish line first behind Michigan at an 8:15.61 clip and the Ohio State boat in 8:29.47 ... finished second in all three races behind west coast foes USC, California, and Washington State at the Lake Natoma Invitational ... crew came back to win all three races at the fifth annual Dale England Cup ... beat Alabama with a time of 7:46.9 before moving on to cross ahead of the Irish B-team and Iowa in 7:53.7 in the second race ... closed the trip to Bloomington with a win over host Indiana, setting a mark of 9:14.0 ... won grand final race at the BIG EAST Championship ahead of Louisville with a time of 7:47.563 ... came in second in preliminary heat at the NCAA Championship with an 8:07.379 mark ... finished A/B semifinal race in fifth after setting a 7:55.390 pace ... in petite final event, crossed the finish line third, good enough for ninth place overall at a 7:21.193 clip ... earned a monogram.

    AS A FRESHMAN: Rowed in multiple boats for the Irish this season ... earned first monogram ... two-time selection as BIG EAST Crew of the Week (April 19, April 25) as member of varsity four boat ... brought the third varsity eight boat to a victory over Tennessee and Louisville in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite (6:52.60) ... also beat Alabama and Buffalo (7:03.30) and placed third against Virginia's "A" and "B" boats... competed in the novice eight against Ohio State (7:15.12) ... beat Indiana, Purdue, and Louisville in the novice eight race the following day with a time of 6:46.65 ... rowed for the first varsity four boat at the Virginia Invite, highlighted by a 7:31.30 victory over Clemson ... also placed second against Virginia (7:34.30) and beat Penn with a race time of 7:34.10 ... helped the first varsity four boat to victories over USC (7:17.84) and Stanford (7:28.10) at the Stanford Women's Invitational ... topped Iowa and West Virginia (7:37.30) in preliminaries of the BIG EAST Invite ... won the first varsity four grand final at the BIG EAST Invite, posting a time of 7:44.90 in the win over Syracuse, Louisville, and Iowa ... after winning the prelims at the BIG EAST Championship, placed second with the first varsity four boat in 7:31.428, losing only to Syracuse ... continued on to the NCAA Championships with the varsity four boat ... placed fourth in the prelims (7:32.14) ... finished second in the repechage heat, and went on to a 7:21.20 fifth place finish in the semifinals ... qualified for the petite finals, and placed second (7:25.35) in the race to earn eighth place overall in the 16-boat field.

    PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed with Olympia Area Rowing while attending Capital High School in Olympia, Wash. ... also part of Capital H.S. swim team, reaching the state competition two years ... won the 2010 Northwest Junior Regionals Championship as part of the first eight and reached the grand finals of the 2010 Youth National Championships, finishing sixth overall ... earned a national team invitation to the 2010 CamAmMex squad ... won first in both the first eight and second eight at the Covered Bridge Regatta in Eugene, Ore. ... named an Academic All-American ... born in Olympia, Wash. ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as a theology major.
