AS A FIFTH-YEAR: Joined '97 grad Jen Renola as only ND women's soccer players to earn All-America and Academic All-America in same season (second team in both) S started all 21 games while shifting from left outside back to central spot in seventh game, when her dominance in the air played key role in 1-0 win over Nebraska S combined with Vanessa Pruzinsky and Candace Chapman as first three defenders from same team named first team all-BIG EAST S helped Irish post 0.82 goals-against average S her 20-yard shot forged 1-1 tie vs. Wisconsin (2-2) S her pass sprung Randi Scheller, who then set up Amy Warner goal vs. Villanova (2-1, OT) S sent long ball to set up Chapman's first goal before assisting on Melissa Tancredi score at Pittsburgh (4-0).

AS A SENIOR: Key member of defense that led nation in GAA (0.39) ... played 24 of 25 games (18 starts, mostly at left back; 1G, 4A) ... assisted on Amanda Guertin goal in 6-1 win over Santa Clara ... had stellar all-around game in 0-0 battle at UConn, splitting time at midfield and defense while logging all 120 minutes ... scored in 5-1 win at Michigan ... assisted in NCAA wins over Michigan (by Ashley Dryer), Harvard (Mia Sarkesian) and Santa Clara, working ball to Meotis Erikson, who crossed to Ali Lovelace for 1-0 lead ... closed with strong game in semifinals vs. North Carolina.

AS A JUNIOR: Made successful return after missing '98 season due to injury ... key reserve, playing in 24 of 26 games S scored team's first goal of season, on skilled volley against North Carolina (UNC rallied, 3-2 in OT) ... played large part in four-OT NCAA quarterfinal at Nebraska, in relief of flu-stricken Jenny Heft S had goal and assist vs. Dayton in NCAA second round ... assisted on Sarkesian's goal against Seton Hall in BIG EAST semifinals.
