    Four Notre Dame players were honored at the BIG EAST Awards Banquet on Nov. 1, 2012, in Hartford, Conn.

    Notre Dame shut out East Carolina in a 5 to 0 win on Sunday, August 26th in Alumni Stadium.

    AS A SOPHOMORE: Team captain ... started all 22 matches, ranking third on team (second among field players) with 1,922 minutes played, while going distance in 17 contests (including 11 of final 12) ... part of defensive unit that tallied eight shutouts and 0.87 GAA ... also collected two goals and one assist ... posted first career multi-point match with goal and assist in season's second outing against Northwestern (4-1), earning secondary assist on Cindy Pineda's first career goal in 25th minute, then doing honors herself by heading in corner kick in 54th minute ... helped anchor ND defensive unit that registered five shutouts in a six-match span (including four in a row) and held opponents scoreless for 521 minutes (as well as one goal in 626:21 covering seven matches from Sept. 1-Oct. 3) ... leading that shutout streak were clean sheets at #1 North Carolina (1-0), ND's first regular season win over a top-ranked team since 1996, and at home against #21 Maryland (5-0) ... had two shots (both on goal) in 2-1 double-overtime losses against Duke (1-2 in 2OT) and in ACC Tournament quarterfinal at #5 Virginia Tech (came out of latter contest at halftime with injury) ... returned to scoring column in NCAA Tournament opener against Iowa (4-1), nodding home corner kick in 87th minute while adding career highs of three shots and two shots on goal (second consecutive year she scored goal in NCAA first-round win) ... turned in strong 2014 spring season, helping ND to three shutouts (1-0 at Michigan, 2-0 vs. Haiti National Team and Mexico Under-20 National Team) while allowing just one goal over final 360 minutes ... also scored insurance goal in 58th minute against Haiti National Team.

Notre Dame Team Most Valuable Freshman ... started 23 matches and ranked second on team/tops among freshmen in minutes played (2,109), missing just 16 total minutes all season (did not play vs. #24 Santa Clara due to injury) ... had 21 complete-match efforts, going the distance in team's final 10 outings (including all six postseason contests) ... part of young Irish defense (featuring four freshmen in the rotation, plus rookie goalkeeper) that crafted 10 shutouts and 0.73 GAA ... also collected three goals and one assist ... potted first career goal at home against Cincinnati (7-0), scoring 4:43 into second half ... also found back of net on Senior Night against Seton Hall (5-1), scoring what proved to be match-winning goal in 24th minute ... sparked come-from-behind victory in NCAA Championship opener vs. Milwaukee (3-1), burying goal with 1:09 left in first half ... chalked up first career assist on Cari Roccaro's tying goal in 59th minute of NCAA second-round win over #10 Wake Forest (2-1); also helped hold Demon Deacons to three second-half shots (one on goal) ... helped shut out #8 Florida (2-0) in NCAA third-round match on the road, also holding Gators to three shots in second half (two on goal) ... added goal in spring 2013 season, scoring in 55th minute of 4-3 comeback win over Mexico U-20 National Team.

    NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS: Mainstay in the U.S. Soccer youth national team system since 2009 (currently with U-20s) ... has 16 caps during combined 2013-14 U-20 cycle (as of Aug. 1), starting 11 times ...named to 2014 U.S. U-20 Women's World Cup Team ...helped USA to 2014 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, starting all five matches and going the distance in four of them (all but group-stage win over Guatemala when she served as captain and then was subbed at halftime of 10-1 American win) ... also earned assist on goal early in semifinal win over Trinidad & Tobago (6-0) that clinched United States' berth in FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup ... along with Roccaro, helped anchor American defense that outscored its five CONCACAF tournament opponents by 29-0 margin, marking the first time in six appearances that the USA swept through the tournament without allowing a goal ... joined in various U-20 camps in 2013 by Notre Dame classmate Roccaro, as well as Irish sophomores Morgan Andrews and Kaela Little ... participated in June U-20 camp in Portland, Ore. ... started both matches on Swedish exhibition tour in May/June, going full 90 against Sweden U-20s (3-1) and playing first half against Sweden U-23s (1-0) ... made U-20 debut at 12 Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain, in February 2013 ... appeared in all three matches, starting finale vs. Sweden (0-0) ... joined Notre Dame seniors Karin Simonian and Taylor Schneider, and Irish classmates Roccaro and Brittany Von Rueden in the 2011 U-18 and 2010 U-17 National Team player pools ... started all four matches for U-17 National Team at 2010 U-16 Nordic Cup in Denmark (USA won title, outscoring its four opponents by a combined 13-1 margin) ... was part of 2009 U-15 National Team player pool with Roccaro and Von Rueden.
