Will serve as captain of 2000 team along with Kerri Bakker and Anne Makinen ... also was one of three ?99 captains ... very athletic and fast defender ... selected to join U.S. national team at 2000 Australia Cup ... played every minute of that three-game tournament, helping U.S. win the event ... trained with U.S. under-20 national team in 1997 and 1998.

AS A JUNIOR: Central defender battled back from off-season surgery on both knees to start all but two games in ?99 in the back after recovery forced her to miss ?99 spring season ... part of backline that also included Kara Brown, Jen Grubb and Vanessa Pruzinsky ... one of five players to play in all 150 minutes against Nebraska in NCAA quarterfinals, the longest game in Notre Dame history ... scored game-winning penalty kick against Cornhuskers in sixth round after 3-3 tie after first five rounds ... in back-to-back games in NCAA tournament, helped hold country?s top two offenses to one goal in 240 minutes in 1-1 tie with Nebraska and 1-0 shutout of top-ranked Santa Clara ... team was 0-2-0 in games she did not start ... did not record a point while playing centrally defensively and not moving forward.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Started and played in 24 of 25 games in ?98 ... part of back line that also included Kara Brown and Jen Grubb ... that trio held opposition to just 16 goals, fourth fewest in Notre Dame history ... assisted on game-winning goal in NCAA third round against Nebraska with her run from back ... also had assist against Michigan in NCAA second round ... named BIG EAST defensive player of the week after goal and assist against Providence ... scored against Syracuse in BIG EAST championship semifinals.

AS A FRESHMAN: Joined Meotis Erikson and Anne Makinen on 11-member Soccer America all-freshman team in ?97 ... registered first point of her Notre Dame career with an assist on Shannon Boxx?s goal against Michigan State ... integral part of defense which allowed just nine goals and shut out 18 opponents in 1997, both school records ... scored in first round against Cincinnati in her first career NCAA game ... had an assist against UCLA in NCAA quarterfinal ... part of back line with Kate Sobrero and Jen Grubb that held opposition to nine goals, fewest in school history ... recorded an assist against Rutgers ... assisted on second goal against Boston College ... scored her first career goal and had an assist against Syracuse ... assisted on Meotis Erikson?s game-winning goal against Connecticut ... had an assist against Villanova in BIG EAST semifinals.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Selected to Parade high school All-America list ... played for under-20 national team in game in Lincoln against Nebraska in spring of 1997 after coming off knee surgery ... also trained with the under-20 national team in Chapel Hill and San Diego ... amazing three-sport standout and 12-time letterwinner at Millard North High School, four each in cross country, basketball and soccer ... led her high school to state championship in soccer in freshman and senior seasons as a four-time all-state selection ... scored 99 goals and 32 assists in high school career ... won state cross country race in each of her first three years but did not finish race her senior year due to separated rib cage ... also was a three-time all-state selection in basketball ... only high school junior to be named Omaha World Herald?s and Lincoln Star?s athlete of the year ... member of National Honor Society ... born Sept. 3, 1979, in Omaha, Neb. ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters with a major in economics.
