    Notre Dame Announces 2013 Women's Soccer Schedule

    Fighting Irish kick off their inaugural season in Atlantic Coast Conference this fall.

    Will serve as captain of 2000 team along with Kerri Bakker and Kelly Lindsey ... internationally experienced midfielder with great distribution and scoring skills ... strong candidate once again to become Notre Dame?s second winner of the Missouri Athletic Club Sports Foundation Collegiate Player of the Year Award and Hermann Trophy ... three-time All-American who is threat to score from almost anywhere in offensive end of field ... veteran member of Finnish national team ... helped Finland in qualification for ?99 FIFA Women?s World Cup but fell just short, losing two-game series with Russia ... played against Jen Grubb and Jenny Streiffer in Finland?s 3-1 loss to United States on Feb. 24, 1999 ... scored Finland?s only goal in that game on a breakaway ... joined Streiffer as fastest players in Notre Dame history to reach 100 points, reaching century mark in 40th game ... already 10th among all-time Irish scorers with 38 goals in 44 games.
