His seven teams at Andrean combined for an 85–35–3 record, with multiple titles on the conference (two), sectional (three) and regional (one) levels, plus a semi-state championship and the ’99 state runner-up finish. Marovich was named conference coach of the year from 1998-2000, district coach of the year in ’99 and was the NSCAA’s Indiana’s private/parochial school state coach of the year for 1999. A four-year starter at Purdue-Calumet, Marovich was a senior team captain and earned the Chancellor’s Award for Athletic and Academic excellence while playing for Oscar Gomez, a former member of El Salvador’s national team.

Marovich–currently a state staff coach with the Indiana Olympic development program–has served as a coach with numerous age groups while working with many college coaches.

Born June 24, 1971, the Schererville, Ind. native graduated from Purdue-Calumet in ’94 with a bachelor’s degree in construction technology and an associates degree in architectural technology. He and his wife Susan are the parents of two-year-old daughter Mackenzie.
