    CAREER HONORS
    2012: U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team.
2011: Notre Dame Team Most Valuable Freshman.

Three-year monogram winner ... gifted player who has been a cornerstone of Notre Dame's defense at center back ... has shown immense toughness and durability, not missing a match in her first three seasons (and starting the past 56 contests for the Irish) ... strength and size make her a dangerous weapon in the air at both ends of the pitch ... has strong understanding of defensive concepts ... also has proved to be timely goal-scorer, with three of four career goals standing up as either match-winning or match-tying scores ... has gathered vast array of soccer knowledge, particularly through time spent with powerful Chicago-based Eclipse Select club program and two summers with the Chicago Red Stars (when they played in WPSL) ... steps into captain's role for 2014 and will be asked to provide veteran leadership for Irish on pitch and in locker room.

AS A JUNIOR: One of six players to start all 22 matches for Irish last year ... led all ND field players in total minutes (2,001), missing only 61 minutes all season (and 34 of those came following dubious red card midway through second half of season's final contest in NCAA third-round match at Michigan) ... played 18 complete matches, including all five double-overtime contests ... collected two goals and recorded 10 shots (seven on goal) ... scored clinching goal in 75th minute of ACC opener at North Carolina State (3-1); also had career-high two shots in victory ... scored dramatic match-winning goal with :03 left to defeat Syracuse (1-0), converting close-range header following Morgan Andrews' free kick and Brittany Von Rueden flick header -- was latest match-winning goal scored in regulation in school history (and just the fourth ND goal ever scored in the final minute of regulation) ... also had career-high two shots on goal (and two total shots) against Syracuse ... recorded single shots at Miami (0-2), at #1 Virginia (2-3, 2OT), in ACC Tournament quarterfinal at #5 Virginia Tech (1-2, 2OT) and in first two rounds of NCAA Championship against Iowa (4-1) and Western Michigan (1-0) -- all shots were on goal, except vs. Miami ... received straight red card in 67th minute of NCAA Championship third-round match at #11 Michigan (0-1) for apparently taking down Michigan player on breakaway (video indicated players were at very least shoulder-to-shoulder with feet getting tangled up during race for ball) -- appeal of red card was denied and thus she will serve one-match suspension to begin 2014 season (will be first contest she has missed in college career, as well as breaking streak of 56 consecutive starts).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Only player to start all 24 matches for Notre Dame in 2012 ... played a team-high 2,168 minutes, sitting out a grand total of 47 minutes all season ... went the distance in 19 matches, including three double-overtime contests ... helped Irish defense pitch 10 shutouts with 0.73 goals-against average (yielded just four goals in six postseason matches, two in the run of play) ... posted career highs with two goals and one assist on six shots ... picked ideal time for first career goal, heading in flank service from Elizabeth Tucker with 18:25 remaining for 2-1 home win over #24 Santa Clara ... second goal of season came one week later and was nearly as vital, nodding in tying goal (from Anna Maria Gilbertson's corner kick) in 39th minute of double-overtime draw at #19 Portland (1-1) ... added single shots at Washington (0-3) and at home against Cincinnati (7-0) ... returned to point-scoring column (and used her head once more), as flick header off corner kick led to assist on Crystal Thomas' second goal of day in 35th minute of double-overtime draw vs. Rutgers (2-2) in regular-season home finale ... tallied single shots in both BIG EAST Championship contests (1-0 results; quarterfinal win vs. Syracuse and semifinal loss vs. #15 Marquette) ... played every minute in last three NCAA Championship contests (all against top-10 opponents), helping anchor Irish defense that toppled #10 Wake Forest (2-1) and shut out #8 Florida on the road (2-0) before being edged out in quarterfinal at #7 Florida State (0-1).

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in all 21 matches, starting 12 times during her rookie season ... led all Irish freshmen in minutes played (1,344) ... had one assist and five shots (two on goal) ... spent time mainly as holding midfielder, with some center back duties, while coming off the bench during first month of season ... did get starting assignments for matches against #21 Duke (1-3) and Louisville (0-1), while registering first career shot in 62 minutes at #17 Santa Clara (1-1) ... added first shot on goal at Cincinnati (4-1) ... came on as reserve at #14 Marquette (2-3, ot), and turned in 65 minutes of strong play, leading to her insertion into starting lineup ... started final 10 contests of the season and played every minutes in each contest except one ... began late-season emergence by helping team post four consecutive shutouts against Connecticut (3-0), Providence (3-0), Seton Hall (2-0) and Rutgers (0-0) ...earned first collegiate point against Providence with secondary assist on Jessica Schuveiller's goal 1:59 into second half ... played vital role in BIG EAST quarterfinal win at #5 Marquette (1-0), helping lock down Golden Eagles' offense and nearly netting critical second goal early in first half, as 13th-minute volley hit crossbar ... had to come off with injury in 35th minute of BIG EAST semifinal vs. Louisville (1-2) ... returned in time to start and play every minute in NCAA first-round match at #16 Illinois (0-1).
