plays) in 0-0 battle at UConn and eight more in NCAA quarterfinal vs.
Santa Clara (2-1, OT), including four dives or tips over the bar
(with huge stop of a Heather Aldama shot in OT, when she made three
saves) ... had five saves in earlier 6-1 win over Santa Clara and
four in 1-0 win at Portland that helped produce No. 1 ranking ... her
three saves in BIG EAST title game vs. UConn (1-0) included stopping
the game's two best scoring chances.
AS A FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE: Played seven games in 1998 (197 shutout
minutes), sharing six shutouts with four saves ... sparked Irish in
regular season vs. Syracuse, recording an assist after entering in
goal to start second half ... played at forward vs. West Virginia and
Syracuse in '98 BIG EAST Tournament ... played nine games in 1999,
logging entire second half against Pittsburgh for one of three shared
shutouts.
