AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Enjoyed a stellar sophomore campaign, earning BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year recognition ... named to the NFCA Great Lakes all-region second team, all-BIG EAST first team and BIG EAST all-tournament team ... 29-11 record in 46 appearances in the circle, with 39 starts ... win total was the 15th-best in the NCAA ... walked only 26 batters in 263.1 innings pitched, and 0.69 walks yielded per seven innings ranked third nationally ... 288 strikeouts ranked 16th nationally, and included a BIG EAST leading 111 punch-outs looking ... shined during BIG EAST play, posting a conference-best 13-2 mark ... struck out 13 batters in a complete game victory over Penn State (Feb. 25) ... allowed one earned run in eight relief innings, striking out nine batters in a win over Ohio State (March 3) ... sat down 13 hitters on strikes in season-high nine innings of work against UNLV (March 11) ... pitched a complete game shutout against Iowa (March 15) at the Judi Garman Classic ... threw the first no-hitter in the history of Melissa Cook Stadium, walking only one batter in a 3-0 shutout of DePaul (April 21) - became just the fourth player in program history to throw multiple career solo no-hitters ... picked up wins in each of the final two games against DePaul, finishing the series with one run allowed in 20.2 innings pitched ... struck out 11 in five shutout frames against Seton Hall (April 25) ... logged a career-high 15 punch-outs in a complete game victory at Providence (April 28) ... closed regular season with three straight shutouts of Eastern Michigan (May 2) and Pittsburgh (May 5 and 6) ... allowed two hits in a complete game shutout of Rutgers (May 10) in the first round of the BIG EAST Championship ... picked up nine base hits, including one double, with three RBI at the plate ... scored only run of the season against Ohio State (March 3).
AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Named a first team all-BIG EAST performer ... second team NFCA all-Great Lakes Region ... BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week (April 11) and a four-time member of the league's weekly Honor Roll ... hurled a near-perfect no-hitter at USF (April 27) in which she walked and beaned the first two batters while retiring the rest for the remainder of the game ... Winter punched out nine Bulls as 51 of her 77 offerings went for strikes ... started 28 games while earning 25 wins (tied for eighth in program history) ... posted a 25-4 (.862) record, the fifth-best single-season clip in Irish history ... each of her four losses came to ranked teams (No. 4 Washington, No. 5 Michigan, No. 24 Louisville and No. 21 Kentucky) ... struck out 216 batters while posting the program's third-best strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.45) ... struck out 8.44 batters per 7.0 innings, the sixth-best mark ever among Irish pitchers ... allowed 1.13 walks per 7.0 innings, the 10th-best clip in program history ... on the national scene, ranked 14th with four saves and 13th in walks per 7.0 innings ... went 9-1 in league play with 2.96 ERA ... three solo shutouts, five combined ... 2.42 overall ERA in 179.1 innings ... 12 complete games ... walked multiple batters only six times in 39 appearances ... allowed 65 runs - 62 of which were earned - while walking 29 batters ... struck out five batters and gave up one hit in 2.1 innings during collegiate debut for a win against Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 18) ... first save of the season came in 1.0 inning of scoreless relief at UCF (Feb. 18) ... fanned eight batters in a complete-game win over Iowa State (Feb. 26) ... allowed one earned run while defeating No. 9 Oklahoma (March 16) in a complete-game, seven strikeout effort ... struck out 10+ batters in consecutive games against Purdue (March 31) and Providence (April 2) ... fanned 12 Boilermakers and 10 Friars in the back-to-back outings ... struck out at least seven batters in 16 different appearances ... totaled three hits and drove in four runs at the dish ... scored twice on the season.
