AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Displayed her versatility by playing several different positions for the Irish throughout the season ... ended up behind the plate for the final 22 contests of the campaign after seeing action across the outfield and at first base ... entered the game versus Utah (Feb. 15) as a pinch runner to see her first collegiate action ... singled, stole one base, and scored a run against Western Kentucky (Feb. 16) ... was hit by a pitch against North Florida (Feb. 22) but earned revenge by racking a double against the Lady Ospreys one day later ... doubled against Pacific (March 1) to drive in her first RBI of the campaign ... started in rightfield against UC Davis (March 1) but filled in at first base after a Heather Johnson's knee injury prompted a shift in the lineup ... came through in that game with a single, one swiped bag, drew a walk, and scored once for the Irish while also gloving six putouts ... worked the count for a walk at UC Riverside (March 4) with the bases loaded to force in a run ... singled against Long Beach State (March 7) and Virginia Tech (March 8) ... drove in one run with her double against Towson (March 14) ... went 1-for-2 and scored two of Notre Dame's 16 runs at Charleston Southern (March 14) ... singled during a 2-0 win at DePaul (March 30) ... made the switch from the outfield to catcher against Wisconsin (April 16) and assumed that starting role for the remainder of the season ... also singled to drive in a run against the Badgers ... had two hits, one RBI and scored at South Florida (April 20) ... drew two walks and had a hit against Loyola-Chicago (April 24) ... had three hits and scored three times during a doubleheader at Syracuse (May 4) ... went 1-for-3 with a double against Louisville in the BIG EAST Championship, and scored Notre Dame's only run of the tournament ... did not commit an error in 143 chances for a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage ... batted .196 with 27 hits and scored 16 runs ... had five doubles, 10 RBI and 32 total bases ... stole six bags.
