AS A SOPHOMORE: Backstroke and butterfly threat for the Irish ... set a career-best and NCAA B-cut in the 100 fly (54.55) en route to a fifth place finish at the BIG EAST Championships ... swam the 100 and 200 back individually at the BIG EAST Championships ... aided the 200 medley relay at the same meet to all-BIG EAST accolades and a third place finish ... saw a career -best performance in the 200 individual medley (2:08.95) at the Shamrock Invitational ... swam season-best times in the 100 back (55.35) and 200 back (2:03.19) at the Ohio State Invitational ... earned a NCAA B-cut on the 400 medley relay squad at the same meet ... took second place overall in the 100 back (57.02) in a tri-meet against Michigan and Northwestern ... won the silver in the 100 fly (56.03) against Michigan State ... was a 2011-12 Rosenthal Leadership Academy participant ... earned a Monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN: Specialized in the back, fly and individual medley ... saw best performances of the year at the BIG EAST Championships in the 100 back (sixth place 54.88), 200 back (2:03.13) and 200 fly (fifth place 2:01.75) ... swam 56.78 in the 100 fly at the U.S. Short Course Nationals ... swam 2:09.24 in the 200 IM at the Shamrock Invitational and 4:35.11 in the 400 IM in a dual meet versus Michigan State ... won the 400 IM against the Spartans ... finished third in the 100 (56.96) and 200 butterfly (2:06.03) events in a dual meet versus Purdue ... earned a Monogram.
THE DOTZEL FILE: Prepped at York Catholic High School (Pa.) ... one of the top butterflyers in the state of Pennsylvania her senior year ... enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business and is majoring in management consulting.
