Championships ... bested her previous
career marks in the 50 freestyle (24.23), 100
freestyle (52.53) and 200 freestyle (1:53.85)
... finished 47th in the 500 freestyle at the
Minnesota Invite in a time of 5:10.76 ... also
placed 42nd in the 50 freestyle relay at the
Minnesota Invite ... was seventh in the 200
freestyle against California (1:57.51) ... recipient
of the Golden Dumbbell, awarded annually
by the Notre Dame strength and
conditioning coach to the swimmer that
puts forth the greatest effort and pushes
themselves the most in the weight room
AS A SOPHOMORE
Ended up fifth on
the team in the 50 freestyle, sixth in the 100
freestyle and 10th in the 200 freestyle ... won
one 50 freestyle race, swimming a seasonbest
24.46 at the Boiler-Make-It Invitational -
her final competition ... that time would
have qualified her for the BIG EAST
Championships ... also competed well in the
100 freestyle at the Boiler-Make-It, finishing
10th in a season best 52.97 ... also competed
in the 200 freestyle, posting a top time of
1:56.87.
AS A FRESHMAN
Finished fifth on
team in 100 freestyle (season-best 52.69) ...
qualified for BIG EAST Championships in a
100 free time trial in final weekend of regular
season ... finished 27th in both 100 free and
200 free in conference meet, as well as 40th
in 50 free ... helped set meet records in 400
free relay (3:33.72) and 800 free relay
(7:53.38) in Dennis Stark Relays ... other season
bests included 24.86 in 50 free and
1:55.37 in 200 free.
