The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams began the 2010-2011 season by hosting the 2010 Dennis Stark Relays.
AS A SENIOR (2010-11): Concluded her illustrious Notre Dame career at the NCAA Championships with a 17th-place finish in the 100 breast (1:00.83) and a 37th-place finish in the 200 breast (2:12.97) ... member of the school record breaking 200 and 400 medley relays with times of 1:38.97 and 3:35.89, respectively at the BIG EAST Championships ... earned a silver medal in the 100 breast with a 1:00.60 and a bronze medal in the 200 breast with a 2:11.79 at the league championships ... added a 12th-place finish in the 200 IM at the league meet with a 2:04.53 performance ... registered top season times of 1:00.53 in the 100 breast and 2:11.06 in the 200 breast at the U.S. Short Course National Championships ... exits the Irish program with four school records (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay) ... owns the top 10 performances in school history in two separate events (100 and 200 breast), a feat that no other Irish swimmer can claim ... earned her first BIG EAST Academic All Star award in her senior campaign.
AS A JUNIOR (2009-10): Continued to overpower the competition in the breaststroke events throughout the season, winning all but one breaststroke event prior to the NCAA meet ... swam to a 14th-place finish in the 100 breast at the NCAA Championship with a time of 1:01.09 after swimming a time of 1:00.69 in the preliminary session ... named an honorable mention All-American for her performance in the 100 breast ... swam to a time of 2:14.17 at the NCAA Championships in the 200 breast ... took home four BIG EAST titles at the league meet by sweeping the breaststroke events and teaming up for wins in the 200 and 400 medley relays ... swam to a time of 59.64 in the 100 breast at the league meet for an NCAA A-cut time, the only A-cut by a Notre Dame swimmer on the season ... followed up her 100 breast performance with an winning time of 2:11.37 in the 200 breast ... that performance was an NCAA B-cut time ... took home ninth place in the 200 IM at the league meet, touching the pad in a time of 2:02.05 ... member of the 200 medley relay that broke the Rolfs Aquatic Center record against Louisville with a time of 1:42.61 ... currently holds the top 10 100 breaststroke times and eight of the top 10 200 breast times in program history ... additionally, she recorded the top 11 100 breast times over the course of the season as well as seven of the top 10 200 breast times, which included the top four times ... the second fastest 200 IMer on the season for the Irish and held two of the top 10 200 IM times from the season ... collected 13 first-place finishes over the course of the year, all of which were in the breaststroke events ... tried her luck in the 50 free and touched the pad in a time of 24.82 at the Hoosierland Invitational.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Ended a dominating season with a pair of All-America honors at the NCAA Championships ... turned in a top-10 finish during the preliminary session of the 100 breast at the NCAAs ... her 59.73 performance broke her own school record and was the first sub-1:00.00 mark recorded in program history ... placed sixth in the finals with a 59.44 to reset the school record and earn her first All-America accolade ... claimed Honorable Mention All-America nods in the 200 breast (2:09.62) at the NCAAs with an 11th-place finish ... teamed to set a school record in the 200 medley relay (1:39.29) at Purdue's Boiler-Make-It Invitational for an NCAA B-cut ... named the Division I Women's Counsilman Hunsaker National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 21 after a strong showing during Notre Dame's dual meet at Louisville ... against the Cardinals, she won the 100 breast in 1:02.16, good for a pool record and NCAA B-cut, followed by her second win in the 200 breast, which also broke a pool record and cleared the NCAA B-cut standard in 2:15.04 ... she also picked up an assist by leading the 200 medley relay team to a win in 1:43.04 to notch another pool record ... BIG EAST title holder in both the 100 breast (1:00.38) and 200 breast (2:10.35) ... also led Notre Dame to titles in the 200 medley relay (1:39.61) and 400 medley relay (3:36.20) at the BIG EAST Championships ... showed her versatility by swimming the 200 IM (2:02.49) for a ninth-place finish ... totaled four all-BIG EAST honors ... had a hand in four school records throughout the season (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay) ... twice honored as the BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week ... won team's Most Valuable Player award.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08): Stepped in and made an immediate impact on the program in her first season ... swam in a pair of events (100 breast, 200 breast) at the U.S. Olympic Trials ... earned an invitation to the NCAA Championships with a season-best time of 1:01.68 in the 100 breast, and her 2:12.76 in the 200 breast ranked 14th among collegiate swimmers heading into the NCAAs ... finished 30th in the nation with a 1:02.36 in the 100 breast at the NCAAs ... four-time all-BIG EAST performer ... claimed the 200 breast (2:12.76) title while setting a school and league record at the BIG EAST Championships ... her 100 breast (1:01.68) mark was good for second at the league meet and was also the best in Notre Dame history ... teamed for a second-place finish and school record in the 200 medley relay (1:48.84) ... her 400 medley relay team also placed second at the league meet ... fastest 200 IM (2:08.72) performance came during the preliminary round of the BIG EAST Championships.
