The Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams took on Michigan State at home on January 21st.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Swam primarily in the breaststroke and individual medley disciplines ... competed in the 100 breast (1:03.13), 200 breast (2:14.35), and 200 IM (2:06.39) at the BIG EAST Championships ... set a career-best and earned a NCAA B-cut in the 200 breast (2:13.05) en route to placing third overall at the Ohio State Invitational ... at the same meet, also set a career best in the 200 IM with the time of 2:05.98 ... season-best time in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.05) also came at the Ohio State Invitational ... took first place honors in the 200 breast against Purdue ... hit the wall first in the 200 IM and 100 breast in the dual meet against Pittsburgh ... aided the 400 medley relay to gold against Michigan State ... competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 82nd in the 200 breast at the long course meet ... earned a Monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN: Specialized in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley ... competed in all three at the BIG EAST Championships, setting season bests in each with times of 1:02.07 in the 100 breast, 2:14.63 in the 200 breast and 2:07.86 in the 200 IM ... finished fourth in the 100 breast, finishing in a NCAA B-cut qualifying time (1:02.07) ... won the C-final at the U.S. Short Course Nationals in the 200 breast in 2:14.95 ... swam the 100 fly in 1:00.13 at the Shamrock Invitational ... claimed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.36) in a dual meet versus Michigan State ... also placed second in the 100 (1:04.78) and 200 (2:17.15) breaststroke events in a dual meet versus Utah ... took third in the 200 breast (2:20.65) in a dual meet versus Purdue ... finished in seventh place in the 100 breast C-final (1:02.54) at the U.S. Short Course Nationals ... earned a Monogram.
