Stitt Finishes Strong Off One-Meter Board In Zone Diving Meet

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Natalie Stitt posted respective scores of 252.45 and 240.50 in the preliminary and final rounds of the 2008 NCAA Zone C Diving meet at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on Friday to total 492.95 points. That total earned her a 13th-place finish among the 41 divers competing in the event. Ashley Karnes of Purdue won the event with a total score of 594.20. Notre Dame was also well represented in the preliminary round by Heidi Grossman (215.70) and Tara Hyer (173.10). The meet, which is hosted by Ohio State, resumes on Saturday with the three-meter event. Live results are available at divemeets.com.
