Notre Dame, Ind. - The Notre Dame women's swimming and diving team remained ranked 13th in the nation in the latest College Swim Coaches Association of America poll released Jan. 30. Notre Dame received 103 points, 97 behind top-ranked Stanford, who also received all eight first-place votes available. Auburn (187) moved up two spots to second in the poll, followed by Texas (183), California (176), and Georgia (175) round out the top five places in the poll.

The No. 13-ranking is the highest in the history of the Irish program. Notre Dame is 10-0 on the season after easily defeating Big Ten rivals Northwestern and Michigan last week. The Irish defeated No. 16 Northwestern 201-99 on Thursday and No. 17 Michigan 175-124 on Saturday.

A limited roster is back in Ann Arbor this Saturday for the Michigan Open, before heading to BIG EAST Championships Feb. 21-23 in Uniondale, N.Y. The Irish, who are heavily favored, are looking for their sixth consecutive BIG EAST title as 29 women have qualified for the meet thus far.

The Irish then return home for the Shamrock Classic on March 2-3, before the divers travel to West Lafayette, Ind., for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships on March 15-16 and the right to compete at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday-Saturday, March 21-23 in Austin, Texas.
