Three University of Notre Dame women's swimming team members will be competing in USA Swimming's 2006 Spring Championships. This year's Championships, a long-course meet, opened on Tuesday, March 28 and will conclude on Saturday, April 1.

Sophomore Caroline Johnson will swim in the 200-meter backstroke on Wednesday, March 29; the 100-meter backstroke on Thursday, March 30; and the 50-meter freestyle on Saturday, April 1.

Freshman Christa Riggins will swim in the 100-meter freestyle on Wednesday, March 29; the 200-meter freestyle on Thursday, March 30; the 400-meter freestyle on Friday, March 31; and the 50-meter freestyle on Saturday, April 1.

Freshman Casey Wagner will swim in the 200-meter freestyle on Thursday, March 30; the 400-meter freestyle on Friday, March 31; and the 1500-meter freestyle on Saturday, April 1.

The 2006 Championships are being held in the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wa. Pacific Northwest Swimming is hosting the meet and live results can be found at www.omegatiming.com.
