AS A FRESHMAN: Ended the year with a record of 5-7 in singles on the year, including 5-3 during the fall portion of the schedule ... earned first monogram ... recorded three wins at the Eck Tennis Classic, knocking off Miami (OH)'s Jessica Pharr (6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 1-0 (11-9)), Dayton's Sarah VanWallenghem (6-1, 6-2) and Ohio State's Kelsey Baker (6-1, 6-1) ... also posted a pair of victories at the Midwest Blast, defeating Illinois' Annie McCarthy (6-2, 7-5) before taking down Memphis' Andrea Arques-Garcia in a one-setter, 8-5 ... got a taste of dual action, playing in four matches, three at the No. 6 court and one at No. 5 ... played in eight doubles matches, primarily with Kristen Rafael, posting a record of 4-1 during the fall and 0-3 in dual matches.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Six-time letterwinner in tennis (four), and cross country (two) at Penn High School ... four time all-state and all-conference team selection for tennis ... singles state finalist and conference champion in 2008 ... named the team captain for her senior year ... named team MVP her sophomore year ... part of the National Honors Society, Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletics and student council while at Penn ... daughter of Bonnie Manningham ...
