AS A FRESHMAN: Along with now junior Katie Potts, proved to be one of the top freshmen in the country ... named to BIG EAST all-tournament team in singles and doubles ... finished 28-5 overall, including 20-4 in dual action ... tied for second on the team with those 20 dual victories ... fourth on the squad in overall victories (three players tied for the team-high with 29) ... went 6-0 at No. 3 and 14-4 at No. 4 ... posted three match-clinching victories ... opened Irish career with four consecutive victories ... raced out to a 20-2 record that vaulted the freshman into the national rankings ... debuted at #110 on March 10 ... posted an impressive 3-1 record against ranked opponents ... marquee win came against #62 Tara Iyer of Duke (7-5, 5-7, 6-3) ... the victory clinched the first-ever Notre Dame victory over the Blue Devils ... also knocked off #67 Preethi Mukundan of Harvard (6-3, 6-2) and #125 Courtney Zauft of Texas (6-2, 6-2) ... posted a 10-match winning streak that lasted from Feb. 18 to March 20 ... eight of the 10 consecutive victories were in straight sets ... went 4-0 in the BIG EAST and NCAA Tournament ... went 17- 4 indoors, 2-2 in tie breakers, 11-6 in close sets, 28-1 when winning the first set, 11-1 outdoors, 2-3 in close matches, 14-1 at home and 15-4 against the Midwest Region ... went 34-6 in doubles, including a 24-4 mark in dual action -- all with now senior Brook Buck ... at No. 1 doubles, went 5-1 ... at No. 2 doubles, went 19- 3 ... opened the season at #60 and climbed as high as #29, but did not appear in the final national rankings ... reached the ITA Midwest Regional Championships ... captured 18 of their first 20 matches, including a 9-7 victory over #19 Batty/McGaffigan of Indiana ... marquee victory came against #11 Bercek/Robinson of Duke (8- 5) ... recorded match-clinching victories in the BIG EAST semifinals, BIG EAST finals, NCAA first round and NCAA round of 16 ... went 23- 4 indoors, 1-2 in tie breakers, 11-2 outdoors, 8- 2 in close matches, 14-3 at home and 21-3 against the Midwest Region.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Extremely accomplished doubles player in juniors action, having to her credit seven Super National USTA doubles titles, including five partnering with current Irish sophomore Brook Buck ... also has a third-place finish in singles in Super National action ... was ranked as high as eighth in the USTA girls' 18-andunder singles rankings ... finished 2004 ranked 27th, including sixth among high school seniors ... also was seventh in doubles ... has won three doubles titles and two singles crowns (plus two runner-up finishes) in National Opens ... went undefeated and won state singles championship in only season of prep tennis, playing for Chisholm High School ... also played on Chisholm basketball team, serving as a two-year team captain and helping it to a pair of appearances in the state semifinals ... the Longhorns also won three conference and three regional titles ... two-time all-league pick also was all-state as a senior ...
