Women's Tennis Wraps Up Play At adidas College Invitational

The 13th-ranked Notre Dame women's tennis concluded play at the adidas College Invitational in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday, and senior Kimberly Guy won the B Flight singles title. Guy defeated Florida's Annika Bengtsson 7-5, 6-2 to finish the weekend 4-0 in the singles for the title. She swept through her four singles matches without dropping a set.

She had beaten Northwestern's Stacy Koxk (6-1, 6-4) in the first round, Tennessee's Crystal Cleveland (6-1, 6-1) in the quarterfinals and Northwestern's Jessica Rush (6-2, 6-1) in the semifinals before the title match.
