GAINESVILLE, Fla. -
Freshman Kristy Frilling defeated South Florida's Janette Bejikova 6-1, 6-4, winning her second consecutive collegiate match Saturday at the Fall Gator Classic.
Sophomore Kristen Rafael defeated UCF's Katie Orletsky 6-0, 6-2. Senior Kelcy Tefft dropped her second-round match 4-6, 7-6, 1-0 to Florida's Megan Alexander.
Tefft and Frilling teamed up for two wins in doubles action Saturday.
They defeated Kentucky's Megan Broderick and Sarah Woestmann 8-1, before defeating Florida's Alexander and Marrit Boonstra 9-8.
The final rounds of the Fall Gator Classic will be played Sunday.
